So, you have become a proud father of twin kids which means you will be kept busy throughout the day! Along with raising first-time kids you should also remember that parenting is essentially more of an emotional job that doesn’t get complete unless you fix the problem air-tight from all sides.
Moreover, you have to learn practicing the art of compromising with your spouse and never think of ‘divorce’ as a solution to problems. Forget all about how your mom & dad used to pamper you earlier which you can’t expect from your spouse. You have to assume that, now with the kids to support, you will have no less problems on hand; so better start responsible parenting and avoid as many problems as you can.
Though you are welcome to strive for ‘ideal parenting’ don’t get obsessive with it. You should know as a father and ‘captain’ of the boat/ship that you have the responsibility to guide it to safety under your control and that it won’t sink easily. Such a confidence, of course, comes with experience.
Before you realize your spouse and in-laws will start respecting you for what you are because assuming responsibility at critical times is not a joke but showing the whole world that you are a worthy parent without bragging!!
